50 Years ING-DiBa

300 invited guests from business and politics as well as long-time associates of ING-DiBa celebrate the anniversary at the Alte Oper Frankfurt, which is moderated by TV journalist Susanne Holst. After the welcome by the Chairman of the Board, Roland Boekhout, the ING-DiBa congratulates Peer Steinbrück (retired Federal Government Minister ) in an interview with Hans Werner Kilz (Die Zeit). Further topics in the discussion are the future challenges and opportunities in the financial sector as well as Helmut Schmidt and the contribution  which he has made in recent years to the media sector and independent journalism in Germany.

Afterwards, the prize winners of the 20th Helmut Schmidt Journalist Prize are honoured by jury member Dr Frank-B. Werner, editor of €uro, for their outstanding achievements in the field of economic and consumer journalism. At the end of the jubilee event the guests attend a concert by the traditional orchestra, the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest.
