A stage for the stage

In March 2014 the Luminale took place for the seventh time in Frankfurt am Main. An international light culture festival, which every two years calls upon numerous artists to experiment with light. The outcome: up to 200 light events transform Frankfurt into a world metropolis of light.

Within the context of the Luminale, the Frankfurt theatre would pleasantly like to draw attention to the upcoming stage production of Faust. In a dynamic façade projection, new combinations of figures are created over and over again. Just as Faust gets a new twill, the actors change their roles in the costumes of the current productions before the very eyes of the passers-by. They look at the passers-by and invite them to come closer and get to know them.

We are delighted to receive the award for A Stage for the Stage at the German Design Award 2015, at the DDC 2014 and at the Golden Award of Montreux.
