For the IAA 2011 in Frankfurt, VOSS + FISCHER is responsible for the overall communication of the exhibition stand for Kia Motors, including media design, programming and interactive iPad vehicles. The focus is placed upon the positioning of the Kia brand as a design and quality brand.

Since the introduction of the new design strategy in 2006 with chief designer Peter Schreyer Kia has been the recipient worldwide of numerous prestigious design awards for excellence. Kia communicates this design claim with its products at the IAA 2011. The exhibition presentation is characterised by the distinctive "Kia Identity". At the exhibition stand visitors can gain experience of original Kia design drawings, from the first draft of the design to the final product.

The design philosophy of Kia and Peter Schreyer is presented interactively using five glass stelae, some of them equipped with a multi-touch, and can be tested by the visitors. Visitors are given a guide to the new "GT" concept car, from the original inspiration to the design philosophy and the design prizes won. The theme of "Design for people" continues in the design studio on the stand and in the open air in front of the exhibition hall. There visitors have the opportunity to design their own Kia individually. With added text, this image can be posted as a postcard on Facebook as a greeting from the IAA.
