What courageous brand communication can look like and what role the GIK studies play here can be seen in the focus of “best4 – The Event”. The media companies Axel Springer, Bauer Media Group, Funke Media Group, Gruner + Jahr and Hubert Burda Media, who are behind the Society for Integrated Communication Research (GIK), invite some 300 guests to the Palais Frankfurt for the exchange of information under the motto "The future belongs to the courageous".

Various presentations and discussion formats with personalities from the media, business and politics shine the light upon the aspect of "courage" as it affects business decisions and social developments and show how courageous brand communication can appear.

Among the speakers are Christian Lindner (Federal Chairman of the FDP), Jörg Quoos (Editor-in-chief of the FUNKE central editorial office in Berlin), Dr Stephan Vogel (Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Germany), Martina Püttmann (Global Marketing & Communication Manager SCA GmbH) together with the TENA brand ambassador, actress and presenter Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, Guido Heffels (Managing Director of HEIMAT and CCO TBWA, Germany), Christof Queisser (Chairman of the Board at the Rotkäppchen-Mumm sparkling wine cellars), poker coach Stephan Kalhamer, Dr Andrea Malgara (Managing Director and partner at Mediaplus) and Stefan Aust (the publisher of DIE WELT). The event is conducted by Daniel Bröckerhoff (ZDF heute+).
