Using the motto "Fields of Cultures, Growing Ideas. Germany. Surprising. Unusual", German creative work is put on display at the EXPO in Milan from May to October 2015. The cultural programme offers primarily to young, up-and-coming artists from the fields of music, literature, theatre, film, art and games the opportunity to perform in front of an international audience, and to represent the arts and cultural scene in Germany. Current trends in the creative scene are shown in order to present a likeable and humorous Germany.

For the Nations Day Germany invites people to the official Nations Day festivities in the famous Villa Erba on Lake Como. As with the cultural programme at the German pavilion, the contributions are surprising and friendly, and support the desirable, light-hearted atmosphere. In order to make the area around Villa Erba optimal for the guests, the programme takes place in different settings – following this, in the course of the evening the guests moved increasingly closer to Lake Como. Seven stages are alternated with different artists from the "Fields of Cultures". Moreover, the guests can exchange opinions at individual stations, e.g. honey tasting, with the ambassadors of the German Pavilion. In this way the experience of the Expo visit was adapted and the contents of the pavilion integrated into the Nations Day. The concept creates an informal atmosphere which offered plenty of room for communication to the 1000 invited guests - representatives of business, politics and culture from Germany and Italy as well as numerous pavilion directors. The Nations Day serves also as a great thank you for the entire Expo staff of the German Pavilion.

In addition to the execution, VOSS + FISCHER is responsible for the overall conception, the technical planning, supporting the artists, the stage construction and the coordination of graphics.
