The Helmut Schmidt Journalisten Preis is a prize awarded by ING-DiBa in the autumn of each year for special achievements in the field of critical consumer journalism. The sponsor and name giver is the former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, who was personally present on the stage at every prize award until 2014.
After an opening speech by the Chairman of the Board of ING-DiBa a star-studded round of talks leads the guests through the evening. It reaches its climax with a festive award ceremony. The innovative, progressive and modern appearance of ING-DiBa is reflected by the event.
Since 2008, VOSS + FISCHER has been responsible for the setting-up, organisation and implementation of the Helmut Schmidt Journalisten Preis.
